Or "Dancing in the Moonglow"..plus the Pink Mother of thousands in bloom. Surprise! My first bloom for Aloe rupestris is on its way. You know I haven't done a thing special for Moonglow...yet its been very fast growing and flowers heavily. Nothing else I have comes close.

Looks great! Can't wait for the 'Moonglow' pup I got from you to become established. ;-)

Leo Thamm says this about Moonglow: "A mature plant has one of the best flower to plant ratios of all hybrids in the collection. It is capable of delivering the same superior flower display year after year, provided it is fed a composted manure mulch or organic fertiliser in the growing season, which will allow the plant to rebuild its reserves."

I've managed by hook & crook to get his hybrids 'Always Red', 'Erik the Red', 'Moonglow', 'Super Red' [aka 'Scarlet Rockets' in the USA], & 'Topaz'. Just missing 'Fairy Pink' of the ones that are distributed here. Then I have fantasies of getting someone in South Africa to send me pups of 'Apricot', 'Candle Wax', 'Cupid', 'Curvacious', 'Ivory Dawn' & 'Winter Bells'. (I'd share them with you all, of course)

I second that about Moonglow. It was nice to have dumb luck on my side that day at HD. As it is- you guys talked me into going back and buying it as I recall. I posted it wondering if it was worth the price beforehand.
Thanks all!

Hi Viegener. Your's is a great selection of Leo Thamm hybrids. :U
I have Fairy Pink but it hasn't bloomed yet. Eagerly waiting for it to bloom because light pink is not a very common shade in Aloe blooms. In Leo Thamm hybrids, I would also love to have Tangerine Tree which produces wonderful tangerine shade blooms and forms a small tree. Here is my winter stressed Fairy Pink....
