Agave ×'Blue Flame' Medio Picta
My own accomplishment after the coring of a partially variegated specimen, and after all said and done, achieving 3 Medio Picta offsets, along with a few Plane Janes.

Yes, you did a great job there. Whenever I see 'Blue Flame' in landscaping I'm always struck by how lovely it is.

Thank you all. Isn't it awesome when something comes out "right"? Now, when those progeny start reproducing, I'll be in business!

Just like you drew it up, eh? Well done!
Agave
"American aloe plant," 1797, from Greek Agaue, proper name in mythology (mother of Pentheus), from agauos "noble," perhaps from agasthai "wonder at".

Thanks. Didn't know how it was going to turn out, as it was my first coring experience, but I did read up on it what I could find, and apparently the information was sound and sufficient. Wasn't too sure about sacrificing an otherwise perfectly good plant, but now well after the fact, I'm happy to have traded what I got in the end with what I had to start. A very good trade!
