Re: Chasing Centuries Book Tour
Thanks kindly, really glad you enjoyed it Mike! I recall taking you guys up to see A. yavapaiensis when I could barely manage to walk. After swapping out my old knee for a bright, shiny new one, we returned to find extensive ruins and terracing associated with that bunch. Great stuff!

Yeah, with your recent knee surgery, you could barely walk at that time much less hike, but we did manage quite well. We did see the yavapaiensis and you also took us to find the phillipsiana. I think that was the site with the very steep incline on the jeep trail and the truck got stuck or bottomed out and we rocked it off and down she came, you didn't have your Jeep that time. That was a hoot!!

Re: Chasing Centuries Book Tour
Ha! That was Peter's Taco that got stuck trying to turn around -- too rocky and too steep going up. Just a little hiccup, we got unstuck in short order, as I recall. Peter and I still share an occasional chuckle over that -- and Kent's SLOW driving.
Yes I had forgotten the phillipsiana -- a nice little patch -- and it still is. We checked on it last summer, and it's doing well.
