The name of this plant would be Echinopsis thionantha subsp. glauca following cactus taxonomy per the New Cactus Lexicon (NCL; Hunt, 2006).

Other synonyms are: Echinopsis glaucina, Acanthocalycium aurantiacum, Echinopsis aurantiaca, in the 2nd edition of the NCL (Hunt, 2013) this species is listed as Lobivia thionantha subsp. glauca.

Hunt notes that given the recent reconsideration of the broad genus Echinopsis it is likely that Acanthocalycium will become a separate genus again and thus it seems reasonable to refer to this plant as 'Acanthocalycium glaucum', which is the name with which it was originally described by Ritter in 1964 in the journal Taxon (Taxon 13, pp. 143-145, 1964).

Acanthocalycium aurantiacum used to be a separate taxon, that was merged with A. glaucum. It produces red flowers with orange centers iso yellow flowers.
It is what it is!
