Just read an article about a new species, Dudleye chasmophyta that might not have made it into the book, don`t known. Found in Orange County, apparently a small range of the species occupies one cliff band, in one canyon. It is not threatened by poaching as other Dudleye`s have, because the cliffs are steep and unsafe to climb, is on private property, has thorny scrubs and poison oak to protect it.
