New Cactus and Succulent book

#1

Post by agavegreg »

Was not sure where to post this, but I finally finished my Cool Cacti and Succulents for Hot Gardens book, a companion book to my Cool Plants for Hot Gardens.

In this one I treat 150+ cacti and succulents (mostly New World succulents like Agaves, Burseras, Dasylirions, Fouquierias, Hesperaloes, Nolinas, and Yuccas, and a handful of Erythrina, Euphorbia, Jatropha, and Pedilanthus thrown in). The book follows the same format as my Cool Plants for Hot Gardens and is 352pp, with more than 400 pictures, a glossary, and "database" using the made-up categories for cactus and succulents based on size and form.

The book is currently available on my website at www.starr-nursery.com, EcoGro, and Spadefoot Nursery both here in Tucson. Through my website, the cost is $35.00 plus shipping.

Wow, it arrived already. Very well put together with lots of good photos. A nice overview to expose one to new plants.
