This does not match any of the photos I have seen of this species... flowers vary, but always are super deep dark red- some are roundish, some bumpy.. .but all a dark red... you sure this identified correctly?

What an idiot. I have a mental block over this plant because I did the same thing last year when I posted a picture of this. It's zebrina v zebrina of course. It's even labelled as zebrina v zebrina too. Sorry guys.

Picked this up at a nursery a week or so back. Already treated to my first flower.

Huernia zebrina variegated at times displays fascinating colors. I have planted many cuttings in the rocks and they are so far doing well

During monsoon I shoved around 20 cuttings of Huernia zebrina variegated at different places in the rocks and just left them there. Almost all sprouted during monsoon and after that I have never watered them. They are entirely at their own, are growing pretty well and have started coming up with fascinating colors. Is it due to no watering that such beautiful shades of red, orange and pink are there....stress colours perhaps?
BTW, the brownish cutting in the rare is the actual cutting that was planted somewhere in end July.....
