I had one of these, a nice little clump i bought at a show. Was beautiful when i bought it, but eventually developed an orange/rust color type fungus or something on the skin. Eventually i killed it :frown: . I did try and graft a cutting from one of the pups, which is still living, but growing very slowly. We will see where it ends up.

The plants above are beautiful!

I have tried growing this outdoors in California several times... no way... cannot deal with our winters.

Yes, I've had that orange/rust colour. So far I've been unable to keep it going in a greenhouse.

obviously some people have it figured out... nice specimens in the shows... and plant readily available for very cheap usually.

I think it's our damp atmosphere that does for it.
