Agave attenuata, grease spots, lesions, mites?

i got this poor looking Agave attenuata, i'm concerned of mite infestation, suggests?

I have never seen an attenuata with eriophyid mites. But that could be what it looks like. If your treat with a translaminar miticide, you'll know for certain by spring.
