Re: Yucca treculeana
must be another very variable species... first photo above looks nothing like all the rest. Unsure how to tell this one apart from other species.

Re: Yucca treculeana
A plant I bought 7 years ago when it was a plantlet with 5/7 leaves in a pot of 2 liters, approximately 1/2 gallon, so may be 9 or 10 years old.

Re: Yucca treculeana
Native Yucca Treculeana in the approximate area of Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge in Texas. A little beat up from 3-4*F they saw in February.

Re: Yucca treculeana
These were growing near Marble Falls, Texas, not far from the Colorado River.

Re: Yucca treculeana
Wow..... nothing explains better than the habitat photos. Thanks for sharing.
I have planted one Y. treculeana at my place but it is still very small. Yuccas generally grow pretty well in Islamabad area.

Re: Yucca treculeana
You are welcome. Yucca treculeana is great at adapting to just about any environment, it even grows in coastal marsh along the South Texas coast. Probably one of the few Yucca that can tolerate constantly wet roots and salt. They also do well in the desert, as they are a close relative to torreyi.
