Now posting a few pics. No frost this year to nip the buds so should bloom again in a few months. Wigandia is not exactly xeric but it has naturalized in the Santa Monica mountains ravines. Still,the more you don't live in a fogbelt the more water it needs to survive the summer drought.

Looking at Dave's Garden I started around 2006 or so since the photo is after it was well established. I purchased it in a gallon pot. DG is my best record keeper. May they never go down. :))
