But you can grow other forms of Ice plants? Like Mesembryanthemums and Lampranrthus???

Very nice collection of ice plants! I like the white and purple ones best. I have Lampranthus deltoides, which is supposed to be lavender. I'll keep an eye out for Delosperma now.

I've had very little luck with most. The survivors are Drosanthemum floribundum, Aptenia cordifolia, and Malephora crocea....but rabbits will trash them if given the chance. I've tried a dozen or so others (mostly Delosperma hybrids but some Lampranthus, according to my spotty records) that thrived all fall/winter/spring but then died in summer sun and heat.

Thanks everyone. I have not had any problem with rabbits here, matter of fact I do not see any these days, with cats and coyotes and dogs around, I guess is the reason.
